Practicum Opportunity

The Modern Graphic History Library is looking for Library Science practicum students in the St. Louis area. Qualified students will complete basic archival training, including becoming familiar with the Modern Graphic History Library's established Collection Processing Manual; working directly with original artwork and material in the collections; working with finding aids to produce online access tools; and creating, manipulating, preserving, and cataloging digital assets.

Students must meet the following requirements:

• Enrolled in a graduate program and receiving academic credit for practicum activities.
• Understanding of basic archival principles.
• Sincere and demonstrated interest in learning more about archival practices.
• Physical stamina (ability to lift 30lb. boxes).
• Good verbal and written skills.
