Bookbinding and the Conservation of Books: A dictionary of descriptive terminology.

Conservation On-line: Maintained by Walter Henry at the Stanford University Library Preservation Department. This site is a comprehensive source for preservation information. Included are bibliographies, Commission on Preservation and Access publications, project reports, and archived files of listserve postings.
Permanence, Care, and Handling of CD's: A site which gives detailed information regarding CD's.
Preservation at the Library of Congress: is a comprehensive site which lists bibliographies, information pamphlets, preservation directorate information, as well as information regarding permanent paper iniatives.
Digital Preservation: A list of digital projects, exhibits, etc.
Northeast Document Conservation Center: Comprehensive site containing detailed information on such topics as Disaster Assistance and Digitization. Contains an online preservation manual, and several online leaflets dealing with library binding, paper repair, encapsulation, rare books conservation, and how to choose a conservator.
Preservation at Cornell University:This site has online information regarding conservation treament and repair. It also contains online publications regarding digitizing materials.
Online Preservation Tutorial: Developed by John Dean, Head of Conservation at Cornell University. This tutorial was designed for Southeast Asia, but many of the principles can be applied to other areas.
Harvard University Preservation Program: This site outlines the components of the preservation program at Harvard.
Clarke Historical L ibrary at Central Michigan University The information found here is designed to help individuals better care for the things that preserve their memories such as old letters, photographs, scrapbooks, family bibles, and many other things.
National Film Preservation Board at Library of Congress: This site outlines the Library of Congress preservation strategies to preserve film.
