WU Springer Ebooks - Math & Statistics

We have purchased the Springer Math & Statistics EBooks packages for 2005-2007 and 2008. Purchase of future years' publications will depend on budget and acceptability of the ebook format by WU folks.

Eventually titles will be in the Catalog searchable by author, title, series, etc. There will be a delay until they are all included in the catalog so meanwhile here is a list of most of 2005-Jan. 2008 ebooks included in this purchase. (This is an Excel spreadsheet; I have put the Lecture Notes in Mathematics on a separate tab since we already had online and print versions of those volumes.) New ebook titles (2007-2008 mostly) will be posted on the Math Library News.

Springer Ebooks titles and chapter headings are searchable at http://www.springerlink.com. Off-campus access is enabled. If you do not specify format, you will retrieve journal articles along with book chapters. A green square indicates when we have fulltext [pdf] access. Sometimes books that include clearly mathematical subjects will be classified as engineering, physics and astronomy, computer science, economics, etc. In cases like that, we will not have the online fulltext access but may have the print books, so you should check the Catalog and/or Mobius Catalog. This is just like online journal content where we do not subscribe; you will often be able to read abstracts online, just not fulltext.
