To streamline administrative processes and to provide a more centralized service for students, library charges are transferred to University Billing on a monthly basis. As a result, library debts are included on students' University bills and may result in a 'hold' on a student's record.
Prior to being transferred to University Billing, any fines will be viewable through the View Your Own Record function. Recent charges that have not yet been sent to University Billing & all non-student charges can be paid at Olin Library Circulation (sorry, no credit cards). Once any charges have been transferred, student payments can be made at Student Financial Services, Room 75, North Brookings Hall or sent by mail to:

The University holds policy was developed by a subteam of the Registration Process Mapping Team which included student representation. If University bills are not paid, students will be placed on University hold which means that they will be unable to register, receive transcripts, and will have their library privileges blocked. As part of the University billing and holds system, we are obliged to block library privileges regardless of what department the unpaid bill is associated with. For example, students who owe tuition could have their library privileges blocked. Students with questions about their University bills should contact Student Financial Services, Room 75, North Brookings Hall. Students can call Accounting Services with billing questions at 314-935-5274 or toll free at 1-800-758-0050 or email Student.Billing@wustl.edu. During evenings and weekends, Library staff will answer questions and assist in any way possible.
