Access From Off-campus (proxy services)
To
access most databases and ejournals from off-campus you must log in through the
proxy server.
You must be a current student, faculty, or staff member of Washington University
for access to these resources.
Instructions for using the proxy server and the proxy server logon page can be

Wireless Networking
The
University Libraries provide access to the campus wireless network managed by Network Services and Support for students,
faculty, staff, and long term visiting researchers.
Setting up
Your Computer to Use the Wireless Network
WUFI-S - Recommended; provides secure, encrypted access to all network
resources.
Instructions for setting
up your computer for WUFI-S can be found on the
Student Technology Services web site.
Guest Wireless Access -
Network Services and Support now provides wireless access for visitors to campus such as parents, conference attendees, and local community members.
To access wireless services, these individuals should check for available wireless networks and select the network named GUESTWiFi-WUSTL. No authentication is required.
Guest access is available in all Library areas where wireless coverage is provided including the West Campus Conference Center.
WARNING - Since Guest WiFi-WUSTL is an unsecure connection, ANY sensitive information,
ie. account numbers, passwords, & other personal information are at risk of
being intercepted. Use extreme caution when accessing the wireless network in
this fashion.
