What is Mobius?

MOBIUS is a consortium of academic libraries in the state of Missouri. It is also a union catalog of the holdings of member libraries. MOBIUS was created to allow faculty, students, and staff at member institutions to borrow library materials from other members.

Libraries participating in the MOBIUS catalog are organized in clusters representing geographic regions. There are 14 MOBIUS clusters: the Washington University cluster, consisting of the catalogs of all WU libraries except Medicine; the Merlin cluster, consisting of catalogs of the four University of Missouri campuses; and twelve more scattered across the rest of Missouri. See this cluster map for information as to what libraries are in each cluster.
