You asked for extended hours. . . . the University Libraries are answering!

Olin and Whispers Café: ID required after 9 p.m.

• Open 24/4 when fall and spring classes are in session.
  • Open Sunday, 10 a.m., through Thursday night/Friday morning at 2 a.m.  Reopen Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.  
    Open Saturday, 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
• 24/4 hours begin on September 9th in the fall and January 27th in the spring.

• Open 24/7 during reading days and finals.
  • Reading and exam period for fall 2012: Open Saturday, Dec. 8th, 9 a.m. – Wednesday, Dec. 19th, 8 p.m.
  • Reading and exam period for spring 2013: Open Saturday, Apr. 27th, 9 a.m. – Wednesday, May 8th, 10 p.m.
    
    
• When Olin is open all night, Help Desk services end and library staff leave at 2:00 a.m. Olin will be staffed by security guards from 2:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.

*The library is offering these new hours on a trial basis, to help us determine whether extended hours should be offered in future academic years.
